Seg\u00fan Los resultados del perfil nutricional de los escolares y adolescentes de 5 a 19 a\u00f1os de instituciones educativas del sector p\u00fablico en M\u00e9xico refieren que este grupo presenta un mayor \u00edndice de sobrepeso que desnutrici\u00f3n. Los m\u00e1s afectados son los varones y los menores de 12 a\u00f1os\u201d. En la etapa de 0 a 12 a\u00f1os de edad, los ni\u00f1os deben permanecer en condiciones suficientes para ejercitarse, tener mentalidad abierta, pensamiento, conocimiento, desenvolvimiento en su entorno y atenci\u00f3n activa durante la jornada formativa. La alimentaci\u00f3n ayuda en todos los sentidos al organismo para no caer en debilidades como; Sabritas, dulcer\u00eda y bebidas azucaradas, que afectan la salud de los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Patricia explica las razones por las que es importante una alimentaci\u00f3n balanceada y ben\u00e9fica para los ni\u00f1os (as) escolares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa primera etapa del desarrollo f\u00edsico, ps\u00edquico y social de la persona es la infancia, y la alimentaci\u00f3n es uno de los factores m\u00e1s importantes que determina el crecimiento y desarrollo de las ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os. Las necesidades de los diferentes nutrientes van variando dependiendo del ritmo de crecimiento individual, del grado de maduraci\u00f3n de cada organismo, de la actividad f\u00edsica, del sexo y tambi\u00e9n de la capacidad para utilizar los nutrientes que de los alimentos consumidos durante la infancia. Es por eso que una alimentaci\u00f3n y nutrici\u00f3n correcta durante la edad escolar permite a la ni\u00f1a y al ni\u00f1o crecer con salud y adquirir una educaci\u00f3n alimentario nutricional deben ser los principales objetivos para familias y docentes, pues la malnutrici\u00f3n, tanto por d\u00e9ficit (desnutrici\u00f3n) o por exceso (sobrepeso y obesidad), puede tener resultados indeseados a corto y largo plazo\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/docrep\/field\/009\/as234s\/as234s.pdf\">http:\/\/www.fao.org\/docrep\/field\/009\/as234s\/as234s.pdf<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s se\u00f1ala que \u201cuna alimentaci\u00f3n, para ser saludable debe ser variada en alimentos y equilibrada para ayudar a promover la salud y prevenir las enfermedades de nutricionales. Cuando se habla de una alimentaci\u00f3n variada significa que hay que preparar comidas con diferentes tipos de alimentos todos los d\u00edas en la casa o en la escuela. Cuando se habla de equilibrada significa que en los men\u00fas preparados se encuentran el contenido de los nutrientes que el cuerpo necesita para realizar sus funciones vitales\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Las PROTEINAS son el componente principal de las c\u00e9lulas. Entre las funciones que pueden tener en el organismo, la m\u00e1s importante es la de formar y reparar las partes del cuerpo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La principal fuente de energ\u00eda de la dieta son los HIDRATOS DE CARBONO, para que las ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os puedan aprender y desarrollar todas sus actividades del d\u00eda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Las FIBRAS son parte de los alimentos de origen vegetal que se encuentran en la piel, c\u00e1scara y pulpa. Estos ayudan a disminuir el colesterol, el az\u00facar y los triglic\u00e9ridos de la sangre y act\u00faan tambi\u00e9n como regulador intestinal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Las GRASAS tienen tres funciones principales que son: almacenar energ\u00eda, ayudar al organismo a absorber las vitaminas liposolubles (A, D, E, K) y proporcionar \u00e1cidos grasos esenciales para el organismo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Las VITAMINAS, son compuestos org\u00e1nicos esenciales que ayudan a regular las diferentes funciones del cuerpo, y se deben consumir todos los d\u00edas a trav\u00e9s de los alimentos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los MINERALES tienen importantes funciones y forman parte de la estructura de muchos tejidos.
